APNIC Community Trainer Dibya Khatiwada conducting the tutorial on RPKI.

APNIC supported and participated in the 55th meeting of the Asia Pacific Advanced Network (APAN 55), held in Kathmandu, Nepal from 13 to 17 March 2023.

The event welcomed 300 participants to share information on cloud, routing, IPv6, security and much more. View the agenda for more information.

APNIC activities:

  • Che-Hoo Cheng gave an update on APNIC services and activities at the General Assembly.
  • Che-Hoo also chaired the ‘ARENA-PAC Updates & Plan’ session at the Network Engineering Workshop.
  • APNIC Community Trainer, Dibya Khatiwada, conducted a tutorial on RPKI to 48 participants (40 in person, 8 online).
  • Jamie Gillespie chaired a panel session ‘RPKI — Use cases and experience’. Jamie is the Chair of the Technical Committee and Co-Chair of the Security Working Group.
