APNIC participated in the Cyber Safety Pasifika Workshop held in Port Vila, Vanuatu from 6 to 10 February 2023.
The theme of this event was ‘Cybercrime Investigation Training for the Pacific Region’ and was held as part of the Cyber Safety Pasifika program, which is led by the Australian Federal Police.
Attendees of the event were police investigators from five Pacific Island economies (Kiribati, Nauru, Solomon Islands, Tuvalu, and Vanuatu).
APNIC activities:
- Jamie Gillespie presented on ‘Internet Fundamentals for Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs)’.
- Jamie also co-delivered a presentation titled ‘Cyber Security Threat Landscape’ with a participant from the Australian Cyber Security Centre.
