Event Wrap: LkNOG 6

APNIC supported and participated in LkNOG 6, which was held in Colombo, Sri Lanka from 18 to 23 November 2022.

The event welcomed around 200 participants to take part in workshops and hear from conference speakers on topics including system and network security, segment routing and Software Defined Networking (SDN), and best practices in DNS and IPv6 implementation.

APNIC activities:

  • Terry Sweetser and Warren Finch conducted a workshop on ‘Segment Routing and SDN’, which was a combination of theory and lab exercises.
  • Terry presented on ‘IPv6 Implementation Stories and Where to Start’.
  • Warren presented on ‘Observations About Social Engineering’.
  • Vivek Nigam and Pubudu Jayasinghe met with APNIC Members and answered their questions on getting more IP addresses, resource transfers, RPKI invalids, and IPv6 deployment.
