inSIG 2022 attendees learnt how the Internet works by playing IPGO.

APNIC participated in inSIG 2022 in Hyderabad, India from 25 to 28 September 2022.

The GFCE Triple-I Workshop and India Youth IGF 2022 was also held as part of the program.

The event welcomed 100+ participants to hear from speakers on topics including the evolving nature of the Internet, core Internet technologies and much more. View the agenda for more information.

APNIC activities:

  • Sunny gave an update on IPv6 and participated in the discussions at the GFCE Triple-I Workshop.
  • Sunny co-facilitated a session on the “Understanding The Core Internet Infrastructure And Functioning” at the Youth IGF India 2022. 
  • Sunny Chendi facilitated two role-playing activities at inSIG2022. The first one was on a cybersecurity incident to raise awareness of common incidents that occur, and the second was on how the Internet works, using the IPGO card game.
  • At the end of the three-day inSIG 2022 event, Sunny led a Kahoot game to wrap up the three days of learning.
  • Sunny also attended the Youth IGF and inSIG committee meetings in advisory role.

Next year, inSIG 2023 and Youth IGF 2023 will be held in Guwahati, Assam.
