APNIC supported and participated in the 2021 CNCERT International Partnership Conference, held online on 16 August 2021.
The event welcomed 54 participants to share information on the theme ‘Cooperation in emergency response to Olympic related cyber threats’.
APNIC activities:
- Adli Wahid presented on increasing cybersecurity preparedness of large-scale sporting events, discussing the pros and cons of an incident response drill, and expanding on two examples of drills that he ran in the past (APCERT 2007 Drill (in conjunction with the Beijing 2008 Olympics) and the Pacific Games table top exercise in Samoa (2019)).
