APNIC participated in the 34th Taiwan Network Information Center’s Open Policy Meeting (34th TWNIC OPM), held online on 8 October 2020.
TWNIC holds these regular meetings to discuss policies and the latest developments relevant to the local Internet operator community. The 34th meeting welcomed around 155 unique participants who heard from speakers on topics including 5G, cybersecurity and IPv6. There were also two new Birds of a Feather (BoF) sessions added to the program: Internet Jurisdiction BoF and DNSSEC BoF.
APNIC activities:
- Paul Wilson provided opening remarks via video, congratulating TWNIC on the work they are doing in the registry space.
- George Kuo gave an APNIC policy implementation update.
