APNIC participated at the Global Forum on Cyber Expertise (GFCE) Annual General Meeting 2019 from 8 to 10 October 2019 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The aim of the event was to strengthen international cooperation on cyber capacity building. The GFCE launched a new knowledge sharing portal, called ‘Cybil‘, to share information supporting the design and delivery of programs and projects.

APNIC activities:

  • Klée Aiken, who is a GFCE Advisory Board Member, participated in the Chatham House Roundtable on Cyber Governance, the Task Force on Cyber Incident Management, the UNGGE Regional Consultation and the Global Commission on the Stability of Cyberspace, which were also held as part of the program.
  • Klée also participated in the GFCE Annual Meeting Days, which included the GFCE Advisory Board Meeting, Taskforce CIM Meeting, and the Working Group B CIM & CIIP Meeting.
