APNIC participated at the Asia Pacific Information Security Conference (APISC) Annual CERT Workshop, organized by KrCERT/CC in Seoul, South Korea, from 7 to 13 July 2019.
Representatives of CERTs from around the world participated in a mix of lectures, group activities, and conference sessions on cybersecurity issues; sharing information, mitigation techniques and fostering collaboration. This is the fifth time APNIC has been invited to participate in the event.
In addition to learning about how to operate a Computer Security and Incident Response Team (CSIRT), the workshop also included a hands-on session on malware analysis and a table-top exercise.
- Adli Wahid participated as an instructor in the five-day workshop on CSIRT Operations alongside instructors from Team Cymru (Jacomo Piccolini), ThaiCERT (Martijn van der Heide) and AusCERT (Geoffroy Thonon).
