APNIC proudly supported and participated at the Hong Kong Network Operators Group event (HKNOG 7.0) in Hong Kong on 1 March 2019.

The event welcomed 180 participants who heard from speakers discussing new Ethernet rates, preparing for new DDoS attacks, the new Johor Bahru Internet Exchange (JBIX) and network disaster recovery, to name a few.

APNIC activities:

  • Che-Hoo Cheng presented on RPKI and why it’s important to start deploying it.

  • Zen Ng hosted a booth, meeting with APNIC Members to discuss their membership and IP address needs and answer questions about IPv4 transfers, IPv6 deployment and ROA adoption.
