APNIC’s Che-Hoo Cheng, Vivek Nigam and Tashi Phuntsho held a Member Gathering in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, on 12 April 2018 following a training workshop on SDN conducted by Tashi Phuntsho.
The event welcomed 19 participants from 13 Member organizations to discuss their Internet resource and membership needs, and hear updates from APNIC over some light refreshments.
APNIC activities
- Che-Hoo, Tashi and Vivek all gave a presentation on APNIC’s activities and new service initiatives, including an update on Internet growth in Mongolia and IPv6 deployment.
- Che-Hoo participated in a panel discussion at a high-level Internet Security event hosted by MobiCom, attended by more than 100 participants.
- Che-Hoo, Tashi, and Vivek took the opportunity to visit a number of Members during the week to discuss various topics, including IXP operations, content caching, MyAPNIC, whois accuracy, and RPSL and RPKI validation.
