APNIC supported and participated at the 2017 Philippines Network Operators’ Group Regional Conference (PhNOG Regional Conference 2017) in Cebu, Philippines from 27 to 30 November 2017.
PhNOG Regional Conference 2017 welcomed 85 participants to hear presentations on the theme ‘Our Philippines Internet’. There was also an update on the PhOpenIX.
APNIC activities
- APNIC EC Chair, Gaurab Raj Upadhaya, gave the keynote presentation on ‘The Network Operators’ Internet’.
- Jessica Wei and APNIC community trainer, Bayani Benjamin Lara, conducted a Basic BGP workshop for 11 participants.
- Jessica also gave an update on APNIC’s activities and services, including IPv4 and IPv6 delegations, IPv4 transfers, and RPKI.
