Pubudu Jayasinghe helping an APNIC Member get a block of IPv6 addresses.

APNIC participated at CommunicAsia 2017 in Singapore from 23 to 25 May 2017.

Held concurrently with Broadcast Asia 2017 and Enterprise IT 2017, CommunicAsia is a commercial exhibition which aims to showcase new technologies and services to technical and business decision makers.  The event attracted more than 18,000 visitors from 89 countries.

APNIC activities

  • APNIC’s Pubudu Jayasinghe, Blandine Cousin, and Anna Mulingbayan welcomed a number of current and potential APNIC Members to the APNIC booth, to help them with their membership and IP address queries.
  • Nurul Islam presented on IPv6 deployment architecture for Broadband Access Networks at the IPv6 ‘Learn and Share’ forum, covering the design options for IPv6 in a broadband access network and the impact that IoT will have.

  • In 2018, CommunicAsia will join NXTAsia and BroadcastAsia for the newly created ConnecTechAsia2018.
