APNIC attended the inaugural Lao ICT Expo 2016 held in Vientiane, Lao PDR, from 14 to 18 December.
Hosted by the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications, the four-day event is the biggest ICT exhibition in Lao with over 150 exhibitors from the telecommunication and ICT industry and a range of technical training and seminar sessions.
APNIC activities:
- Sheryl Hermoso spoke on IPv6 deployment during the ICT Technology Trends and Regulatory Impact session, which was organized by the ITU.
- Before the Expo, Jessica Wei joined Sheryl to run a three-day Internet Resource Management and Network Security workshop.
