The Australian Network Operators Group (AusNOG) held their annual meeting – AusNOG 2016 – on 1 and 2 September in Sydney, Australia. The meeting celebrated the 10th anniversary of AusNOG during which the founding board members James Spenceley, Steve Baxter and David Hughes were formally recognized.

APNIC’s Elly Tawhai was among the 190 people who attended the two-day meeting.
APNIC activities:
- Elly gave a presentation on APNIC’s Recovered IPv4 Pool waiting list and an update on Australia’s IPv6 capabilities.
- She also spoke to a number of current and potential Members about their resource requirements and how they could apply for IPv6 address space through MyAPNIC’s one-click option.
