APNIC supported and participated in bdNOG 18, held in Coz’s Bazar, Bangladesh from 12 to 15 July 2024.
The event welcomed 230 participants who joined discussions and training on topics including: IPv6, SDN, DNS, network security and much more. View the program for more information.
APNIC activities:
- Subha Shamarukh delivered a presentation on ‘Geolocation and Geofeed Implementation’, addressing common geolocation issues and solutions, along with step-by-step guidance on implementing geofeed.
- Subha also hosted a booth, engaging with several APNIC Members and conference attendees to discuss APNIC membership, Internet number resource requests, and referral applications.
- Md. Abdul Awal delivered a presentation on ‘IPv6 Deployment Planning and Security Considerations’.
- Awal and APNIC Community Trainer, Shaila Sharmin, conducted a three-day workshop on network security for 34 participants.
- Md. Zobair Khan and APNIC Community Trainer, Qazi Tahmeed, conducted a three-day workshop on segment routing for 25 participants.
