IPv6 workshop participants at the PCTA Convention 2023.
APNIC supported and participated in the PCTA Convention 2023, held in Boracay, Philippines from 10 to 14 April 2023.
The event focused on the features of the new PCTA Internet Exchange (PIXI), which helps PCTA members and non-members enjoy the benefits of sharing traffic to reduce costs and latency, aggregate bandwidth, and increase access to the Internet in the Philippines.
APNIC activities:
- Anna Mulingbayan and Shane Hermoso hosted a booth, welcoming several Members and potential Members and answering their questions on APNIC membership, getting IP addresses, and much more.
- Anna presented an introduction to APNIC, sharing details on the membership application process, getting IP addresses, and securing routing with RPKI.
- Shane and APNIC Community Trainer Bani Lara conducted the IPv6 workshop for 50 participants.
