APNIC participated at NANOG 82, held online from 14 to 16 June 2021.
The three-day conference featured presentations on topics such as DDoS, IPv6, ping and traceroute, and included a keynote speech by Vint Cerf on ‘The evolution of the interplanetary Internet‘.
There was also a hackathon held before the event with the theme, ‘Interacting with APIs’.
APNIC activities:
- Geoff Huston presented on the evolution of the DNS, discussing the effect additions to the DNS such as privacy, DNSSEC, and service rendezvous tools will have on the system.
