APNIC participated in the sixth edition of the Pakistan School of Internet Governance (pkSIG 2020) meeting, held online from 17 to 20 August 2020.
pkSIG aims to help the Pakistan Internet community better understand global and regional Internet governance issues, and related actors, issues and processes. pkSIG 2020 welcomed around 40 participants to hear from speakers on topics including Internet infrastructure standards, cybersecurity, and the digital divide.
APNIC activities:
- Paul Wilson gave a welcome keynote speech, noting the importance of the multi-disciplinary and multistakeholder nature of Internet governance and its processes.
