APNIC participated at the Cyber Security Regional Forum in Sydney, Australia, from 4 to 5 April 2019.
The forum is an initiative of the Cyber Security Regional Standardisation Enhancement Program, a partnership between the Cyber Cooperation Program and Standards Australia to strengthen cybersecurity in the Pacific using consistent language and following best practices.
Around 30 participants, including government, trade association and ISP representatives from the Pacific met to discuss the progress of a regional cybersecurity standards report that includes tangible, economy-specific recommendations.
