APNIC participated at the 46th Asia Pacific Advanced Network meeting (APAN 46) in Auckland, New Zealand from 5 to 9 August 2018.
The program consisted of two days of workshops, and four days of meetings and sessions covering topics including cloud agriculture, Internet of Things, network engineering, and disaster mitigation.
APNIC activities:
- Jamie Gillespie delivered the ‘Organizational’ module, and co-delivered the ‘Operational’ module of the TRANSITS I workshop, which was organized by GEANT and funded by Asi@Connect. The workshop introduced participants to working in a Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT), and was awarded the Best Training Activity Award.
Jamie Gillespie delivered TRANSITS I training at APAN 46.
- Che-Hoo Cheng coordinated and served as session chair for the the DNS/DNSSEC and Network Security tutorials, which were delivered by Sheryl Hermoso. The DNS/DNSSEC tutorial received first runner-up in the Best Training Activity Award.
Sheryl Hermoso delivered the DNS/DNSSEC and Network Security tutorials at APAN 46.
