The 56th Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation Telecommunications and Information Working Group (APEC TEL 56) was held in Bangkok, Thailand, from 10 to 15 December 2017.
APNIC has been an official guest of APEC TEL since 2009, regularly providing insight into regional IPv6 deployment at the Development Steering Group (DSG) and more recently taking part in the Security and Prosperity Steering Group (SPSG).
APNIC activities
- Adli Wahid helped conduct the SPSG Cyber Incident Management Workshop for around 30 participants alongside representatives from Malaysia’s MCMC and Japan’s NISC.
- Adli also assisted with facilitating a SPSG Cyberdrill/Exercise held by Japan’s NISC.
- Klée Aiken presented the guest message at the closing plenary and an IPv6 deployment update at the DSG.
