APNIC participated in and supported the inaugural 2017 Lanka Network Operators Group (LKNOG 2017), held in Colombo, Sri Lanka, on 20 October 2017.
LKNOG was established to provide a forum for network operators in Sri Lanka to come together to learn, discuss, and share information about the operational issues and technologies affecting the Internet in Sri Lanka. Welcoming 92 attendees, the agenda included presentations on an IPv6 deployment case study, IoT, and network monitoring and measurements.
APNIC activities:
- Pubudu Jayasinghe presented an update of APNIC activities and services.
- Pubudu also took the opportunity to meet with APNIC Members to discuss their membership and IP address needs.
