APNIC participated in the 3rd INTERPOL Global Cyber Crime Expert Group (IGCEG) meeting, held in conjunction with the INTERPOL World Conference in Singapore from 5 to 7 July 2017.
The IGCEG brings together experts from cyber-related fields to provide advice on topics including strategy, research, training, forensics and operations.
APNIC activities:
- Adli Wahid contributed to the meeting by sharing perspectives of APNIC, the Regional Internet Registry, and CERT/CSIRT communities.
- Adli met with representatives from the Thai financial sector at the INTERPOL World Conference and discussed future security-related collaboration activities.
- Adli met with INTERPOL representatives about training support for LEA officers in the Pacific later in 2017.
