The 40th Session of the Management Committee of the Asia Pacific Telecommunity (APT) was held from 29 November to 2 December 2016 in Nadi, Fiji.
The focus of the meeting was to review APT activities in 2016, and consider and approve the Work Programme and Annual Budget for 2017. APNIC’s Duncan Macintosh was among the 83 people who attended the meeting.
APNIC activities:
- The 2016 “Report of Capacity Building” was approved during the meeting. It included a Letter of Interest from APNIC to collaborate with APT to provide technical training to APT member nations. This means APNIC can now collaborate formally with APT members to provide technical training.
- Duncan also spoke with attendees about potential training and capacity development opportunities.
