APNIC participated in the PITA 27th AGM & Business Forum Expo 23, held from 29 May to 1 June 2023 in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.
The event welcomed representatives from government, telcos, and other industry players to share information on digital innovation, broadband satellites and much more. View the agenda for more information.
APNIC activities:
- Terry Sweetser presented on smarter networking and Internet traffic efficiency with Internet Exchange Points (IXPs) at the Transformations and Applications session.
- Adli Wahid highlighted some key security observations and discussed opportunities that can be supported by the PITA community and other stakeholders for enhancing cybersecurity in the Pacific at the Cybersecurity session.
- Adli, Terry and Elly Tawhai met with APNIC Members to discuss their ROA deployment, RPKI, IXPs and peering, and cybersecurity initiatives.
