APNIC participated in the Indonesia MCIT webinar on 5G, IoT, and IPv6 held online on 9 June 2022.
Organized by the Telecommunication Directorate of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Republic of Indonesia, the webinar aimed to:
- Understand the importance of IPv6 in 5G and IoT development
- Increase IPv6 adoption in Indonesia
- Increase stakeholder awareness on the importance of IPv6
APNIC activities:
- Sanjaya gave a presentation on how to obtain Internet number resources (IPv4, IPv6, and AS numbers) from APNIC, and gave an update on IPv6 deployment in the Asia Pacific region.
